Dr. Mike Sandifar

After Coaching in the High School Ranks from 1971 to 1978 winning 98 games and Four Conference Championships, and 5 Coach of the year awards, Coach Sandifar took his coaching to the next level. From 1978 to 2016 Mike has won 638 games at the NCAA Level. After stints at Averett University and Southwestern College Mike found his home at Oakland City University.  A National Record of 10 Consecutive Regional Coach of the Year Awards Mike’s mighty Oaks won the 1999 NCCAA National Championship to go along with 2 NCCAA National Runner-Ups in 1994 & 2006 and 4 Straight CCNIT National Championships from 2012 -2016. But where Mike impacts the most lives is off the Court where he is Oakland City University’s everything.  As Athletic Director Mike has raised over $1,000,000.00 from various forms of fund raising the bar on Athletics at OCU to the highest standard. Mike also is OCU director of marketing as well as a Dr in Physical Education. Under Mikes watch OCU has graduated more Athletes then all the other Institutes in the Area.
