MAY 31, 2019 – EVANSVILLE, IN. – The Greater Evansville Sports Hall of Fame Baseball and Softball Games, an annual fundraising event, will take place on Monday and Tuesday, June 3-4, at the Deaconess Sports Park in Evansville, IN. The Games will once again bring together 64 area Travel and Little League baseball and softball teams for two exciting evenings at the ballpark. Softball games will be on Monday and baseball games on Tuesday.
Here is the official agenda for the 3rd Annual GESHOF Games for each night:
- 4:00 Park Opens
- 5:00 Opening Ceremony – Welcoming Message & Team Parade
- 5:45 National Anthem
- 5:50 First Pitch Ceremonies
- 6:00 Opening Games Begin
- 7:45 1st Round MVP Ceremony
- 8:00 Closing Games Begin
- 9:45 2nd Round MVP Ceremony & Closing Remarks
Games attendees and players can expect a range of additional ballpark fun thanks to Studio D Dance Studio, the Hadi Shriners Funsters, Boom Squad, and the generous event sponsors: Costco Wholesale, Healthy Spaces by Swat Pest, Logan’s Promise, Technician.Academy, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, EXTEND GROUP, and Diamond Yards Engraved Bricks. First pitch ceremonies will be driven by local celebrities and community influencers. There will also be opportunities to purchase Greater Evansville Sports Hall of Fame merchandise and learn more about the organization.
Tickets will be sold at the gate for $6. There will be an additional opportunity this year for two-day passes at $10 each. Admission for children 12 years and under is free. All proceeds benefit the Greater Evansville Sports Hall of Fame.
