The Greater Evansville Sports Hall of Fame Will Welcome Inductees from Various Other Sports
EVANSVILLE, IN – March 29, 2018 – The Greater Evansville Sports Hall of Fame (GESHOF) is pleased to announce the addition of inductees who impacted sports beyond baseball, basketball, football, and golf. Athletes, coaches, and anyone else who has greatly influenced local softball, tennis, wrestling, track, and other sport teams have been added to the list of inductees that will be welcomed into the Sports Hall of Fame in August 2018.
“We want to include anyone who’s impacted the region no matter what sport they’ve been involved with,” said Tim Turpin, Founder of GESHOF.
Inductions to the Greater Evansville Sports Hall of Fame will take place at the annual Sports Banquet on August 11, 2018, 4-9 PM, at the Holiday Inn Airport Hotel and Conference Center in Evansville, IN. The following list details who the new inductees are and what sports they have impacted.
