Kenneth “Tot” Nelson was a three-year starter for Winslow High in Pike County and graduated in 1939. He played at Oakland City University all four years and was inducted into their hall of fame in 2014. He started coaching at Lynnville in 1949 where he won a sectional tournament his first. He moved to Plainville in 1956 where his team made it to the final four in the Wabash Valley Tournament. Kenneth held a four year record at Plainville. Winning 81 and losing 14. He also coached Newburgh and Castle teams which won Sectionals.
