Three-year starter & star of tiny Odon High School’s run to the 1959 semi-state final. Larry Graham set the Bulldogs all time scoring record with 1,387 points, also grabbed 929 rebounds for career averages of 17.4 points & 11.8 rebounds. Larry was all-sectional, all-regional & all-semi-state in Odon’s 1959 run that included first ever sectional & regional championships before a loss to New Albany in the last ever sudden death overtime game in state history. Larry was a four-year player at Vincennes University & Texas Wesleyan University. He later became an accomplished coach who won 806 games in high school & college. Larry’s teams won two Illinois Class A H.S. state titles & he was named Illinois Class A Coach of the Year in 1977 & 1981. In 2007 he was named one of the “100 Legends of Illinois High School Basketball Tournament” and he was on the 1985 Silver Anniversary Team.
