Year Inducted:  2017

Mike “Hoot” Gibson has been a part of Bosse High School for fifty years. Mike was a student at Bosse High School from 1967 to 1971, and during this time he was asked by a coach to be a student manager. Since his graduation in 1971, he has been a fixture at Bosse High School. Mike is currently the equipment manager and takes care of everything from the laundry to keeping scoreboards at games. In fifty years, Mike has only missed one football game and a handful of basketball games. When former athletes come back to visit Bosse High School they always ask where “Hoot” is. The athletic director, coaches and athletes know that if they can’t find something Mike will always have the answer or a solution. Mike has taken care of coaches and athletes at Bosses for fifty years and his contributions go above and beyond.
